The 2-ton steam clock is the iconic sight of Gastown. It has been standing here since 1977. As the world's first steam-driven clock, the tradition of whistle-blowing every 15 minutes has lasted for hundreds of years. Stop by the steam clock and watch the white steam blowing out, accompanied by the sound of the whistle, as if returning to the ancient steam era.

Where Dad Went Episode 17 - Taking a Luxury Train Deep into Banff Park in Maple Leaf Country
In this world, if a country can be expressed with just maple leaves,
it might just be it.
Whether you're swimming in the picturesque Banff National Park,

or riding a large wheel special climbing bus, crushing on the perennial glacier,
it's as if you've traveled through a time tunnel,
wandering non-stop between reality and history.
And with a harsh whistle,
Vancouver's steam clock pulls you back to reality.
Put down the glass of red wine in your hand,
a bite of soft Alberta steak sublimates your taste buds,
the world's six luxury trains "Rocky Mountain Light" slowly travels between the lake and the mountains,
exclaiming that life can be so comfortable and leisurely, intoxicating...
This travel note will take you deep into the east and west of Canada,
and experience the wonderful moments behind the maple leaves with the author.

Listen to
Listen to the sound of the steam clock in Vancouver Gastown
I saw and heard the most famous steam clock in Gastown in the summer of 2019~!~! While looking for where the steam clock is, I heard the sound of the clock chiming and followed it, and there it was!! ㅋㅋㅋ
At first, I heard the sound of a danso blowing nearby, so I thought someone was playing an instrument? But it was the sound of a steam clock ㅋㅋㅋ !
It spits out steam every 15 minutes, 4 times an hour, and the steam comes out from the four pillars on top of the clock? 😛
I looked around the Gastown steam clock and the building was brown, so it gave off an old-fashioned vibe😍
There were so many souvenir shops around, so I bought all the gifts for my friends here😉 (I bought maple syrup, maple syrup cookies, ice wine, etc. as souvenirs!)
The atmosphere of Gastown has its own unique atmosphere, so it was refreshing and nice 😭👍🏻♥️

The most liveable city in the world
#wheretogo
Consistently ranked as one of the most, if not the most livable city in the world, I had the good fortune to visit Vancouver, Canada and visited some of the city’s most heralded attractions.
Vancouver, British Columbia, is a must-visit destination for a multitude of reasons.
Gastown, Vancouver's historic district, adds a charming contrast with its cobblestone streets and iconic Gastown Steam Clock. This area exudes a vintage charm and offers a vibrant culinary scene and unique boutiques.
Stanley Park, a verdant oasis at the city's doorstep, is a highlight. It offers scenic seawall walks, the iconic Totem Poles, and the Vancouver Aquarium. This urban park showcases the city's commitment to preserving nature within an urban landscape.
Overall, Vancouver provides an ideal blend of outdoor adventure and urban exploration. Whether it's the breathtaking vistas of Stanley Park or the rich history of Gastown, this Canadian gem promises an unforgettable experience. It is well worth a visit and the residents of Vancouver must count themselves as one of the luckiest persons in the world!
