The furnishings in the rooms are very elegant and simple, and you can see that they all have a very historical style. The restaurant is decorated with many Portuguese elements, such as wine, the Portuguese flag, and painted tiles, but the most eye-catching feature is the wall full of wine bottles. We ordered the codfish and steak rice. The codfish is first steamed and then pan-fried, making it juicy and tender, served with the rare addition of straw mushrooms. The steak is a safe bet, accompanied by Portuguese-style wavy fries, greens, and a sunny-side-up egg, all served with rice. We finished our meal with a lemon beer.

Another one is this: Plaza España. But it’s only until I was there I was fully able to grasp how magnificent it was. It’s pretty almost every moment from dawn to dusk, even under harsh lights—though we might prefer one over the other. I’ve been there three times during my visit, and I found them all photogenic enough. But mind the crowds, (though the entire plaza is large to enough to dilute the crowds), if you’re the kinda person who would want zero photo bombs, your best bet is early morning. Honestly, I think a photography enthusiast or just someone who loves to have great photos of themselves can spend a good three hours here without getting bored. Staying in an apartment in Barcelona, we visited the street-side restaurant and bar 'La Tere Gastrobar', near Sants Station. It appears to be a Spanish cuisine restaurant. If you don't have a reservation, try your luck by arriving early! The restaurant's decor features a modern, minimalist, and stylish design, creating a bright and cheerful atmosphere. We were lucky to get a table for six. How can you not order grilled octopus leg when having Spanish cuisine? So, we also ordered grilled vegetables, grilled squid, grilled pork ribs, grilled mentaiko bread, and grilled lava cake. We went all out with grilled dishes! To our surprise, the octopus leg was braised, not grilled. The tender texture with rich sauce was different from what we expected but still quite delicious. Overall, the dining experience was great. Also Sagra Da Familia, there are loads of cute souvenir and desert spots around it that you should definitely try out - all walkable! I believe to enter both you have to pay, but I’ve heard it’s very cheep €€. Would definitely recommend a day to visit tourist spots! Rating - 10/10 2. Address - Brunch & Cake 🍴 Highlights - this is my favourite brunch of all time! They have the same branch in Dubai and it’s absolutely amazing! The price is so good and affordable, and the hospitality is amazing! If you rented a car ( like us ) there’s loads of parking around to leave your car! Rating - 20/10 3. Address - The Burger Maker 🍔 Highlights - this lunch spot is amazing - it’s halal as well !! Milkshakes are a must try they were amazing and you can basically make your own burger at this restaurant so you can have it just how you like! Rating - 10/10 4. Address - The Egg Lab 🍳 Highlights - if you’re looking for a more different kind of breakfast / brunch I would definitely recommend this spot. However when we did go there was a bit of a wait and queue so I would suggest going a bit earlier to avoid this! The food is also halal here and also so so filling. Rating - 9/10

Thankfully, the city has more than one Rambla, where you can actually enjoy the slow strolling these city features were built for. • Barceloneta is the most famous beach in Barcelona, and the adjacent neighborhood is worth checking out for its narrow streets and great tapas spots, but travel further down the coast if you actually want to lay out on the beach. Barceloneta can get very crowded and noisy with tourists, so walk or cab your way past Port Olímpic to Platja de la Mar Bella. Because all the beaches in Barcelona are artificial, built for the 1992 Olympic games, the sand isn’t the nicest, to be frank. • Pickpockets are a real issue. You should never let your guard down, especially when riding the metro or walking down crowded tourist areas like La Rambla.
