It holds two Guinness World Records: the Faxiyuan, the largest conjoined Buddhist temple building in China, and the tallest indoor Maitreya Buddha statue in China. There is an elevator in the main hall, and the eighth floor contains all the treasures of the museum, which can be visited from top to bottom. You are not allowed to take photos inside the temple. The temple is very large, so you must go behind the main temple to take photos. There are super high yellow walls and red walls here. Then you can go around the temple from the small path on the side. There are many beautiful camera positions and it’s great for taking photos! Gemo Temple is located in Gemo Town, about 20 kilometers outside Aba County. Admission is free. The temple is newly built, but it has set several world records: the world's largest conjoined Buddha hall building, the world's largest indoor gilded Maitreya statue. There is also a museum inside the Buddha Hall, displaying various treasures collected by the temple, including Buddha relics. The gold, silver, and jewelry in the museum are the most common things! The top floor has a huge Vajra Mandala City, which is extremely luxurious, as if you are in the heavenly palace. The exterior of the entire temple seems to be born for taking pictures, completely symmetrical Buddha Hall, large yellow and red walls behind, you can take pictures at will. Note that you can only enter from the left side door, drive about 200 meters along the outer wall of the temple, don't be scared by the closed gate.

Come to Western Sichuan for summer vacation, I recommend this Middle-earth world. Many people come to Western Sichuan for the small loop or to visit places like Daocheng Yading and Jiuzhaigou. These spots are well-developed and crowded, especially during summer vacation, when the roads are jam-packed, significantly diminishing the experience. At this time, please turn your attention to Aba County, where there lies a super treasure of a scenic area that many still do not know about—Lianbao Yezhe. I have traveled almost all over Western Sichuan, but I feel that the beauty of Lianbao Yezhe could break into the top four. Here are my reasons: 1. Massive stone mountains, bizarre and magical, are a rare sight worldwide. 2. It is accessible by car, which means there are many angles from which to view Lianbao Yezhe, offering a different scene at every step. (There are many more beautiful sights in Western Sichuan, but the viewing angles are fixed, leading to aesthetic fatigue.) 3. Each season and every type of weather brings a different kind of beauty, unlike some snowy mountain areas where a single cloudy day can ruin everything. Before I went, I saw pictures of Lianbao Yezhe online and thought they were just okay. But being there in person, the majestic and fantastical stone peaks came one after another, and I was so shocked that I couldn't stop pressing the shutter. During the hot summer weather, the altitude of Lianbao Yezhe in Aba County is 3,000 to 4,000 meters, making it super cool and very suitable for travel. How to get there? Navigate to Lianbao Yezhe in Aba County. How to play? Lianbao Yezhe allows self-driving, but it's recommended to go early, as there are long queues of vehicles entering the scenic area. Most importantly, there is limited parking at the mountain top viewing platform, and it's first-come, first-served. If it's full, you can only wait for a spot to open up before driving up the mountain. Therefore, it's advised to drive up the mountain early in the morning, enjoy the mountain top attractions, then drive down to enjoy the lower mountain attractions, in that order. Photo spots? The reason I suggest you go early and start with the mountain top is that the coffee shop up there is actually a very good photo spot. Get there early to secure a spot without people around, order a coffee, and outside the window, you'll have the huge, magical stone mountains—an effect that's off the charts. Picture 7. How long to play? The scenic area is quite large, and it takes a good half day to thoroughly enjoy it. Tips? It's best to bring a windbreaker, as the wind is strong, and wind protection is most important. Sun protection is essential; without it, you'll get sunburned.
