There are about three places called Gexian Mountain in China, namely Gexian Mountain in Xianning, Gexian Mountain in Pengzhou near Chengdu, and Gexian Mountain in Shangrao, Jiangxi. If you want to see wild cherry blossoms, you must go to Gexian Mountain in Chibi, Xianning. Location: Gexian Mountain, Xianning, Hubei Hiking distance: 10km, about 5h Total climb: 637m 🚍Transportation method: Bus Equipment: mountaineering bag (backpack), assault jacket, assault pants (sports and leisure), hiking shoes (comfortable sports and non-slip shoes), trekking poles, knee pads (worn when going down the mountain to reduce the pressure on the knees); 1.5L water + dry food + fruit; power bank, garbage bag 🌟Itinerary We departed from Wuhan at around 8:30, and the bus took about 2 hours, arriving at Gexian Mountain at around 10:30. There is no public toilet at the foot of the mountain, but the villagers are very nice and I can use their toilets. ⌚️We started climbing the mountain at around 11 o'clock. We met other teams on the way. It seems that there are quite a lot of people in Gexian Mountain recently. At the beginning of the climb, you need to go through a bamboo forest, but the freezing rain crushed a lot of bamboos, so the road was not easy to walk on. ⌚️Around noon, we climbed to the top of Gexian Mountain, saw the big windmill, and took a lot of photos.
