As I approached the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda in Xi’an, I felt the thrill of stepping back in time. Standing before it, I could almost feel the spirit of his adventurous journey and dedication. Climbing the pagoda’s seven stories was a highlight, offering panoramic views of Xi'an’s blend of ancient and modern life. Each level provided a different perspective of the city, from traditional rooftops to modern skyscrapers in the distance. Inside, the walls were lined with beautiful, intricate carvings that depicted Buddhist lore and ancient Chinese culture—a feast for the eyes and soul. The nearby gardens were serene and full of life, perfect for reflecting on the history and beauty of the pagoda.
