[2025 Seoul Attraction] Travel Guide for Gilsangsa Shrine (Updated Feb)

Majority will have the impression that the best autumn foliage is available out of the city, but this temple situated in the middle of Seoul stunned many visitors with its awesome colours. Situated on top of the Hyehwa-dong area, Gilsang-sa temple offers a stunningly beautiful colours within the premise, leaving its visitors in awe. While walking inside the woods one can witness the different colours of maple leaves spanning from red to orange and yellow, with a little greens in the background. Many are still unaware of this beautiful place to view the foliages. To go there get down at Hansung University and take a local bus all the way up to the temple.

#I recommend a famous #temple in #Seoul‼️ It's Gilsangsa in Seongbuk-dong! A temple located in the middle of Seongbuk-dong, Seoul, Gilsangsa was built in 1997. It has a unique history of changing the place from Daewon-gak, a high-class restaurant during the military regime, to a Buddhist temple. Since it was the place where the monk Musoyu Beopjeong lived, there are many tourists as well as Buddhists.
