Ginger is a local restaurant that was just recently renovated so it looks very refreshed and contemporary! The peranakan influences are quite obvious in their choice of tiles and furnishing, like the unique old-school fans as fan blades. In the morning, they are a full buffet restaurant where customers can enjoy multiple live stations for eggs, waffles, noodles and sushi. The food tastes pretty good too, a decent spot for meals! #celebratewithtrip Ginger PARKROYAL on Beach Road 7500 Beach Road Singapore 199591 I visited Ginger at PARKROYAL on Beach Road for my mum’s lunch birthday. I love the outlook of the restaurant where it was quite spacious and welcoming. It is easy to walk around and you will not bump into others. The buffet spread were a mixture of local and Western food and cold appetisers. I had a mix of everything and my favourite are the Salmon and their mashed potato with hints of chicken. Thankfully, the foods I took were really good. And to end the lunch, I decided to eat their ice cream. To my surprise, it was Thai Milk Tea Ice Cream. Imagine free flow of Thai Milk Tea Ice Cream! No doubt the food is delicious but I wished there is more variety, that is my only complaint.

Hotel breakfast at Ginger at Parkroyal on Beach Road Address - 7500 Beach Road Rating - 4/5 We were surprised that the breakfast was actually pretty good! Better than other similar range hotels like carlton city, grand park city hall. First off the selection was pretty good. There is abit of everything. And most of the food tasted above average. We especially enjoyed the lotus rice, tater tots, carrot cake! Their prata, otah, curry chicken and nasi lemak were especially good too! Beverage wise there was juices and coffee machine. I dont remember seeing tea though. Peak hour is 9 to 10am, so do go earlier to avoid queuing. #singapore #staycation #staycay

Try not to come too late or else you will have to queue to enter. I will suggest that you to come before 9am or else by 9.30am. The buffet breakfast closes at 10.30pm. Everything is self service and there are live stations for noodles and eggs. You also can toast your own bread and make your own cereal. There are different types of tables setting too, you can choose from the private booth sofa seat, to the round or square tables. The restaurant is spacious and it is always better to have buffet for breakfast.
