#mysgmemories Gochi-So Shokudo is a Japanese restaurant which has affordable prices for tonkatsu. If you are their follower, you will know they always have deals which are even valid during weekends. It is also easy to order by scanning their QR code. What’s make them special is they will serve you whole sesame and a grinder for you to grind into sesame powder for your cabbage salad. I will recommend first timer to try their tonkatsu set which comes with a soup and salad. If you upgrade to a meal, you can choose 2 side dishes too. There are many outlets around Singapore so you can try it.

#staycation Most of my staycations are planned according to the local hawker centres and must-try dishes. I came to know about Gochi-So Shokudo through their instagram and discovered their super cheap weekday menu. So from Studio M Hotel, I explored the new MRT line and came to Westgate to try the menu. It was really value for money and there was no pressure to order any drinks or side dishes. Most of the customers ordered the weekday value menu and I ordered one extra set menu to try. It was awesome to discover cheap eats during my staycation because I get to travel to places which I will not usually go in Singapore. Most of my time is spent outside of Singapore.
