Golden Mile is known for their Thailand food. But there is a pretty amazing chicken rice restaurant as well, located in B1. We did not order the steamboat as we wanted to try more dishes. We had the half a chicken, tofu, Sambal kangkong, satay with rice. The spicy garlic sauce that comes with the tofu is quite amazing. It has onions and pineapples with it, so mixed it up and eat together. The satay was amazingly look with their thick aroma smell. For our main highlight of the day! The chicken! U get to choose from chicken breast, chicken legs or which ever parts you want. We just go ahead with half a chicken! The meat is tender and soft with the soy sauce. Dipped it in their homemade chilli and garlic sauce, and you can feel a mix of soft texture and explosives taste.

There are also several playgrounds there for the children to play. There is also a football field there for you to have a game of football with your friends. You will definitely like the place if you like plants and flowers .

The park is a whole stretch of road from the lavender train station all the way to the Suntec area. You will pass by the formulae one race road track as well. You can walk all the way to the Singapore flyers too. It is just a twenty minute walk from the park. During the night time. you will be able to see beautiful scenery on the bridge . If you are someone who likes to be in a quiet and peaceful place to relax , then the Nicoll highway park is the place to go to.

There are also trainings conducted to teach you more about the first aid procedures as well as the emergency routine to go through if such an emergency incident arises. You can reach there by taking a train and alight at the Nicoll highway station. The place is just a five minute walk away from the train station only. You will get to learn something new for sure.

Here, you will be able to find two levels of yummy local delights cuisine. My recommendation would be the hainanese chicken rice which is very delicious . You will definitely have to queue up during the weekday lunch hours. The next stall beside it is also a famous fried prawn noodle starting from 5 dollars. It is worth trying and sometimes the queue might be long as well.
