I went to Goshikinuma Lake District in Fukushima Prefecture. It's relatively close to Lake Inawashiro and Mount Bandai. As the name suggests, there are many lakes and swamps. It's 4km one way, so I did some trail running while sightseeing! The autumn leaves were at their best along the way. (Although I didn't get many because I was just running.) We went to the Goshikinuma Pond on the middle of Feb. The pond trail is about 3.6 km in length and it takes about 70 to 90 minutes one way. It is a relatively flat hiking course. The environment and the view is so snowy and quiet.
