In Seoul, the Singapore Embassy always hold a National Day celebration in Grand Hyatt Hotel in Seoul. A scumptious buffet is prepared and you get to savour all kinds of local Singaporean Food, which your stomach will not be able to take on. We enjoyed the rending, chilli crab, satay, fried noodles, laksa, chicken rice and many more, and desserts such as black sesame coconut milk, pandan cakes and cendol. There are also many activities prepared for the crowd to enjoy, and also prize to be won as well. We really enjoyed this event.

A reasonably priced, comfortable luxury hotel recommended for travel in Korea! I often stay at Hyatt, but even though I arrived earlier than the check-in time, they let me check in early. They even let me store my luggage, which was very helpful!! The front desk staff were also very kind. The image of the room is exactly as it is shown on the website, and although it feels a bit retro, the hotel rooms are very clean and tidy, which leaves a good impression. I have used it several times on trips with my family because it is comfortable. Of course, I also use it with friends. The night view of the Han River is amazing, so I recommend the river view rooms. The best thing about Hyatt is the lounge! I think it is the best place to use the lounge among Korean hotels. It is very well-equipped and has a spa, sauna, and pool. Grand Hyatt Seoul Teppan 🍴 I had a mix of highs and lows at the Teppan restaurant: The fish dish and hangjeongsal (grilled pork neck) were absolutely amazing! 😋💯 The abalone dish was okay but felt a bit experimental, like they were trying to push the boundaries of Korean fusion cuisine. Since it was a corner room, we could see the sun rising! The night view of the Han River is very beautiful at night, and I especially like the night view!! The entrance is also beautiful and smells nice! (It smells the same as the incense in my house, which was calming) The food was delicious and looks great in photos! I didn't think I needed to eat Japanese food, but the hotel's food, teppan, looked very delicious, so I'd definitely like to try it next time I go☺︎ It seems that you can enter the hotel pool once for free. It was crowded with couples and people with children from early in the morning until late at night! Even if you don't go into the pool, you can read a book or relax on the sofa or chair, which is very relaxing☺︎ There is a convenience store nearby, and I was very grateful that a taxi was waiting for me from early in the morning! There are also employees who speak Japanese, so I think this is a hotel where even those who are not confident in Korean can stay with peace of mind. The room is not that spacious! But I think it is a comfortable size! We stayed with three people, so we had a sofa bed! What was disappointing was that even though we had booked for three people, only two bath towels, towels, and amenities other than slippers were provided. We brought our own toothbrushes and other things, but it would have been nice if there were bathrobes and cotton for the number of people! Also, it was disappointing that the sofa bed was not made every day, and tissues and toilet paper were not replenished sufficiently. We stayed for four nights, but it bothered me that the cleaning methods were different depending on the person, such as removing dust from the desk and shelves on some days.
