I am really lucky enough to observe the sunset with Matterhorn even during the winter time 😱😱 Checked one of my travel list!
Getting here - It is very easy to get to the top to catch the view. Simply take a one way / round trip from Zermatt station to Gornergrat which cost around CHF 48 with Half Fare Card. The ride takes around 40 minutes with spectacular view around along the ride!
