We went to the salt lake at noon in the summer, and it was a total exposure to the sun. The weather was too hot, and friends must do a good job of sun protection. The scenery is quite open, but you can't see the colorful salt lake that you imagine, only drones can overlook it. Personally, I think it's best to go to the salt lake on a rainy day, or after it snows in winter, the scenery is more beautiful. If the family has plenty of time, you can stay for one night and climb the mountain to watch the sunrise in the nearby Phoenix Valley. Or take a bus on the roadside to visit the nearby Guandi Family Temple, which is also very good! Jiezhou Mianshan Very beautiful! Very novel. There are also many attractions nearby, such as Zhangbi Ancient Castle. I recommend everyone to go in the summer, I haven't been there in winter. Taiyuan Ancient County I went there when I passed by Jinyuan District. I didn't spend money to enter the 'Manjianghong' film and television base, just wandered around other places in the ancient county, where there are also Guandi Temple, Confucius Temple. The place is quite large, but it feels underdeveloped. It's best to go when there are activities, it's more lively. Taiyuan Jinci Highly recommended, the ticket is not that expensive. The scenery is really unique. We went there at the turn of spring and summer, there are lakes and mountains, and ancient Tang Dynasty buildings, maybe doing some knowledge strategy in advance can better appreciate its preciousness! Taiyuan Botanical Garden Not far from Jinci, there are many attractions in Jinyuan District. Tianlong Mountain, Jinyang Lake Park, are all quite close. The botanical garden has many different garden areas, and the tropical botanical garden is really eye-opening. Outside the garden area, it might be bare in winter, but it should look very good in spring and summer! Additionally, my biggest regret is not going to Pingyao Ancient City with my classmates. Guandi Temple is located on Guandi Tower Street in Hongdong County, established in the tenth year of Yuan Dade (1306). It has been renovated and expanded throughout the ages, and is a relatively well-preserved group of ancient buildings from the Yuan, Ming, and Qing Dynasties, with significant historical value. The Guandi Temple faces south, and from south to north along the central axis are the Guandi Tower, the stage, the offering hall, and the main hall, with the bell and drum towers and east and west rooms on both sides. The existing main hall retains the Yuan Dynasty structure, the east and west rooms are Qing Dynasty buildings, and the rest are Ming Dynasty buildings. Guandi Temple, also known as the place where Su San redeemed her vow, is named after Su San once made and fulfilled her vow here. The exhibition in the 'True Story of Su San' exhibition hall in the scenic area provides detailed information for people to understand Su San from different perspectives. Guandi Tower, also known as the Spring and Autumn Tower and the Three Zhen Pavilion, is a four-sided thoroughfare tower, about 22.7 meters high, with glazed tile edges, and is a multi-storey pavilion-style building with a double-eave cross-hipped roof. The stage, also known as the performance platform, faces south, is three rooms wide and three rooms deep, with a roll-top roof. The bell and drum towers on both sides of the stage are about 13 meters high, with a cross-hipped roof and two-story buildings. The offering hall is a Ming Dynasty structure, three rooms wide and three rooms deep, with a single-eave roll-top hanging mountain roof. The couplet on the door of the offering hall is: 'Confucianism is called a sage, Buddhism is called a Buddha, and Taoism is called a heavenly respect; Han is a marquis, Song is a king, and Ming is a great emperor', with a plaque 'Wenwu Shengshen' above. The offering hall is the place to offer offerings. The main hall is a Yuan Dynasty structure, five rooms wide and three rooms deep, with a hipped glazed roof. The main hall worships Guan Sheng Emperor. It is said that Su San once got a sign here and finally got her wish, which was passed down as a good story by later generations.
