Guanghuigong Palace was first built during the Zhiping period of the Northern Song Dynasty. The main hall enshrines the statues of the "Three Purities," the highest deities in Taoism. It was originally called Guanghuigong Palace. Later, because Zhang Shicheng of the late Yuan Dynasty built a granary here and occupied Guanghuigong Palace as his temporary palace, it was commonly known as Zhangwang Temple. The palace enshrines both Wong Tai Sin and Guanyin.
