Here you can see the magnificent geological shapes in the canyon, walk along the Ancient Tea-Horse Road, sit in the Mu Family Courtyard, drink a cup of Pu'er tea, and feel the rich customs of the Ancient Tea-Horse Road. Guanyin Gorge Attraction consists of two areas, Huanglongtan and Guanyin Gorge, which are connected by a 385-meter tunnel and Round-trip by electric trains. The Attraction has mountains, lakes, canyons, forests and waterfalls, and beautiful natural scenery. In addition, there are quaint Naxi villages, relics of the ancient Tea-Horse Road, religious temples and other cultural landscapes. Walking into the Guanyin Gorge with rich customs, it seems like returning to the era of tea-horse exchange. Entering the Attraction, the first thing you pass is the Ancient Tea-Horse Road, where there are relics such as the Mujia Bridge and the Mujia Courtyard. The Mujia Courtyard was a tax inspection office set up by the Mu Tusi on the Ancient Tea-Horse Road. The building is a typical Naxi three-square and one-screen wall, four-sided and five-yard structure, which reminds people of the glory of the horse caravans. There are also many old workshops and shops along the street, including carpenter shops, leatherwork shops, copper and iron shops, silver shops, inns, taverns, etc., with a strong original ecological style, and you can vaguely imagine the lively scene of the horse caravans passing by. If you continue walking, you can see the Tianxiang Tower, which is made of small stones and glued together. It is a unique tower for worshipping the heavens of the Naxi people; the Xiake Pavilion where Xu Xiake once stayed; and the Tibetan Cultural Center with a strong religious atmosphere. You can sit in the quaint Yunnan-Tibet Teahouse, drink a cup of rich Pu'er tea, and feel the leisurely atmosphere. After that, we took a small train through a 385-meter mountain tunnel to the entrance of Guanyin Gorge. The gorge was lush and green. Not far ahead, we saw a waterfall hanging in front of the mountain like a silk thread. This is the famous Guanyin Waterfall. There is a standing statue of Guanyin in the cave beside the waterfall. Maybe this is the origin of Guanyin Gorge. There are many peaks in the gorge. The uncanny work of nature has created more than a dozen natural attractions such as "Chongtian Pillar", "Ancient Plank Road", "Monkey Cave", "Camel Peak", "Tang Monk Statue", etc., all of which are natural and in different shapes. Continue to the edge of the pond, and take a Cruise to return to Mujia Villa while viewing the scenery along the way. The entire tour of Guanyin Gorge takes about 2 hours. No accommodation is required. You can take a bus back to Lijiang after the tour.
