Gunung Lang is one of famous places in Ipoh Malaysia. To go there you can order taxi because this place is little far from the city. In this place, you can ride the boat and visit the park but so many monkey in there. You have to be carefull with what you bring like food/drink. Gunung Lang is located in Jalan Kuala Kangsar, only 5 kilometers from Ipoh town and close to the North South Highway exit to Ipoh. It's one of the many limestone mountains in Ipoh, Perak. This previously tin mining sites turned into a recreational area by the Ipoh City Council with collaboration of the Ministry of Tourism in 1999. It holds a recreational park, 3 artificial lakes and a man-made waterfall which atop a limestone hill, cascading down into the lake below. Its all look naturally, the peaceful and picturesque scenic really impressed me! Visitors can take a boat ride(just a couple of minutes) to the recreation park which is located at the opposite side of lake. Just RM3 for aldult and RM1.50 for children/senior citizen. Lovely place! Came here to for climbing, felt so connected with nature. Lovely pond with blooming water lilies. Air was filled with chirping bird. Most amazing is the structure of super old trees growing on the rocks. As for the climb, ranging from 5C to 6C. During school holiday, every parents will makes plan to spent time and go for a holiday with their kids. If you’re heading to Ipoh, Perak please makesure to make stop at Pavilion Petting Zoo. This place located at Gunung Lang. The ticket is only RM5 per pax and free for kids below 2 years old. The kids will enjoy their time here as they can play and touch the pet. They can also feed the animal. As it is located at Gunung Lang, personally i think this is the most beautiful zoo as its surrounded by limestones caves and beautiful lake. Gunung Lang Recreational Park of Ipoh if perfect place for you to do grounding to vent out your stress due to hectic daily routine. It is nice place for canoeing, boating, fishing or relaxing while enjoy the nature. It has complete natural resources from lake, waterfall, flora and fauna to calm out mind or relief stress after works. With RM3 for adults while RM1.50 for children fee for boating we can use boat to cross the lake to visit Perak House miniture, mini zoo and enjoy the view from view point. Do remember to bring along sufficient water and sunglass to avoid dehydrated. With the limestone as the backdrop we totally forgot that we are in the middle of the city. #tripblazers#awesomepic

Must visit Gunung Lang if you come to Perak,Malaysia. This is an interesting place of recreation. Price for adults is RM3 and RM1.50 children boat fare to Pulau Gunung Lang, through there is just one boat which takes you to the other side. Furthermore,they have based a photo booth at the entrance to the park area asking people to take photo on a green screen saying it’s for their records but it’s not a must though. If you get it done you may have to purchase the photo in your way out at RM50+ or u can just leave it. The weather are very hot , suggest bring an umbrella when go there. The Gunung Lang Recreational Park, off Kuala Kangsar Road is located in the north of Ipoh City, close to the interchange of the NSE E1. Opening Hours: 8:30am to 6pm

#malaysiatrip Personally I liked the waterfall. The waterfall is accessible by anyone and it's free. It's unique in the sense that water particles were floating around and it feels cool. Waterfall is manmade, and it starts at 0900. The park is fine too. Kinda quiet during the early hours. Though I feel opening the park earlier say by 0700 may be the best as that's the time it's the coolest, from an environmental temperature perspective. Opening hours: 0900 onwards. We came here a bit too early around 0800 and waited for the ticketing counters to open. First boat leaves around 0915. Boats are frequent at intervals of 15-20 minutes. Entrance fee: RM3 only which includes the boat ride to and from the recreational park.

Marrybrown has always been the most favorite place of all when it comes to fast foods for myself and also my family. Recently when my family and I were on our way from Kuala Lumpur to Taiping, we went for a quict stop at the latest Marrybrown outlet located at Gunung Lang, Kinta, Ipoh. This outlet is connected to the Shell Petrol Station in the Plus Highway North Bound. The service was so fast. The foods were freshly prepared. Kudos to the manager and the team.
