After exercise, go to SAGO All-Day Restaurant to enjoy a rich buffet breakfast 🍳. There are all kinds of Indian | Malay | Western food. Xiaoyang loves the smoked sashimi 🍣 and Malay rice noodles 🍜 here. Its a great place to hang out and enjoy the breathtaking sunrise, and for the kids to ride their bike or play in the dedicated playground. The playground for the kids is a great addition to the stretch along Gurney Drive. There's even a mini rock climbing area for younger kids and a skate park. Take a stroll or bike and enjoy the view of the sea, as well as the skyscrapers along Gurney Drive. If you'd like to have a close up view of the mainland, lookout for the binoculars! Go early or later in the evening as it may get hot during noon. My dream family destination is Japan Disneyland where I hope to bring my whole family for fun filled adventure.

Such a great place to stroll and hang around during the evening. The park offers great views of Gurney drive, sea view and also skyscrapers in George Town. This park is one of a kind as it is built at the ever busy bustling city area of Penang Island. The park is spacious, with wide walkways, promenades by the sea. Can easily spend an evening here just strolling around and chilling by the sea. Also, there are a lot of facilities like playground, mini rock climbing facilities for the kids, small skate park with a little slope. We truly enjoy our evening here at Gurney Bay. I wish to travel to Hong Kong for the food!

#penangtrip Gurney Bay, formerly known as Gurney Wharf, is a seafront park within George Town in the Malaysian state of Penang. It was newly opened to public in Feb 2024. It's definitely a nice place for couples, family outing and jogging. Skate park and children playground are the most visited area apart from seafront promenade. According to the information board, there are many interesting and attractive places like mangrove garden, water garden, beach, water taxi jetty, hawker center, kiosk, vantage point, and event space. All these facilities are still under construction of phase 2 and it's expected to be completed in the year 2025.
