I went to Gurye to see the cornelian cherry 🌼 📍Gurye Cornelian Cherry Blossom Festival (839-6, Jwasari, Sandong-myeon, Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do) There is a village in Gurye called “Cornelian Cherry Village”! In March, they hold the Cornelian Cherry Blossom Festival! Bright yellow cornelian cherry blossoms are in full bloom everywhere, so it’s great for taking walks and taking pictures! All the pictures I took here turned out really pretty for Instagram ☺️ In particular, there were a lot of festival booths and food, but I had takoyaki at a food truck and seafood pancake and cornelian cherry tea at a booth! (The cornelian cherry tea was provided for free!) There was also a small mountain in the village, and if you climbed the mountain, you could see the whole view of the cornelian cherry village! #SpringTravel It was a great experience filled with the beauty of nature. Guyu is located in Gyeongsang Province and is considered one of the most beautiful rural areas in the country. It has wonderful scenery, beautiful gardens and green farms. When I arrived in Guyu in the spring season, I noticed the picturesque nature surrounding the city. The fields and lawns were filled with blooming flowers and green trees. The bright colors and fragrant scents of the flowers added a unique and romantic atmosphere to the area. I visited many beautiful gardens in Guyu. One such garden is Jajang Arboretum, a huge garden with various rare plants and trees. I enjoyed walking through the shaded corridors and enjoying the wonderful view of the flower-filled gardens. I also did not forget to try the food in Guyu. I enjoyed the delicious local cuisine that the area is famous for. Guyu has several restaurants that serve delicious dishes based on local fresh ingredients. Overall, my spring season walk was a great experience. I enjoyed the beauty of nature, the gardens, the farms and the local cuisine. It is an ideal destination to relax and enjoy the beauty of the Korean countryside. I highly recommend visiting in spring for nature lovers and tranquility.

#CherryBlossom2024 If you drive from Gwangyang to Gurye for about an hour, the street trees will soon change to yellow cornelian cherry trees, and the surrounding area will be filled with yellow cornelian cherry trees. Even though it was a weekday, the two-lane entrance road was crowded and the parking lot was already full, so I parked on the side of the road and drove all the way from Bangok Village. I was so happy to see the yellow feast that I had never seen before. After looking around Bangok Village, I went up to Hawi Village to look around the village and then to the entrance of Sangwi Village and tried to go up further, but there were so many cars that I couldn't even think about it and came back down to Bangok Village 🥺 Personally, Bangok Village was the best💛 1️⃣Bangok Village Gaksigye Valley 2️⃣3️⃣4️⃣Bangok Village Flower Road 5️⃣Hawi Village Seosicheon 6️⃣7️⃣ Sangwi Village The fifth photo is the Hawi Village photo zone, but for some reason, when I got there, the road was completely blocked by a gate 🥺 I went there thinking of having a picnic, so I was really flustered, but fortunately, I was able to have a pretty picnic again when I returned to Bangok Village. The cornelian cherry blossoms bloom for a long time, so they're still pretty until the end of March after the festival, so be sure to come and enjoy this beautiful yellow feast in March! As of March 14, they were 100% in full bloom☺️
