When I visited Haebangchon Market, I was struck by its unique atmosphere where tradition and modernity harmoniously coexist. As I walked along the market alleys, I noticed a mix of old shops and newly opened, characterful stores. The quaint market vibe combined with trendy cafes and eateries gave Haebangchon its distinctive charm. In particular, the food I tasted at the small eateries within the market was heartwarming. The homemade dishes, though not flashy, were rich in flavor. There were also small craft beer pubs and vintage shops scattered around, offering visitors a special experience. Walking through the alleys, I encountered murals and art pieces, adding to the fun of exploring the market. Despite its lively atmosphere, Haebangchon Market exuded a sense of relaxation and comfort. It was a place where the old and new coexisted, allowing for diverse cultural experiences and interactions with people. It had a unique charm that couldn't be felt in other parts of Seoul, making it a market I would love to visit again.

As the name ‘Typewriter’ cafe suggests, there are typewriters and typewriter-shaped props on the counter. The typewriter on the counter has nice writings written on it, as shown in the photo, which makes you feel happy from the moment you order. Basically, one drink per person is the rule, and outside food is not allowed! I ordered a chocolate typewriter, and the coffee was really strong and the chocolate tasted good. The drink came out in a cup with my favorite picture on it, so it felt even more special :) Next time I go, I want to try the black sesame rice cake, which is made like a waffle! ‘Typewriter notebooks’ are placed all over the table. You can write a story on the first page of the notebook according to the theme written by the owner. It felt like a guestbook with an added layer of emotion. I didn’t write anything, but it was so nice to be able to read people’s stories! There were so many warm words. You can also choose other typewriter notebooks at the counter. I highly recommend reading them when you visit! It was also nice to sit and look at the sky through the large window. I visited during the day, but this place is actually known as a sunset restaurant! There are more seats than you'd think, and the interior is pretty, so it's a place where you won't get bored while waiting. 'Ukababsang' is highly recommended for those who want to try various menus! #OutdoorDate The Shinheung Market was attractive because it had a mix of the liveliness of a traditional market and a modern feel. The lively atmosphere from the entrance of the market was impressive, and the merchants were kind and welcoming, which made me feel good. Inside the market, there were various shops, from fresh vegetable and fruit shops to hip shops selling cute accessories. In particular, I tried chewy glutinous rice cakes at a famous rice cake shop, and they were really delicious. Also, the small flower shop inside the market was full of pretty flowers, making it a great place to take pictures.
