Busan City Day Tour: Take a capsule train to view Haeundae from a distance
My understanding of Busan
started with the capsule train
Because of a picture, I flew over 2300 kilometers just to check in
Today, I will introduce my Busan capsule train day tour guide in detail🔎
🚉Day Tour Itinerary
Cheongsapo Marine Skywalk - Capsule Train (Cheongsapo to Oe Pohang, i.e., Haeundae) - APEC Nurimaru APEC House - Distant view of Haeundae - Haedong Yonggungsa Temple.
Cheongsapo Marine Skywalk🗼
Before taking the capsule train, you can visit the Cheongsapo Marine Skywalk to enjoy the seascape. 🆓Admission, it's on the left side of the train, about a 15-minute walk away. The skywalk was abandoned halfway through construction, but it is still open for visitors. Shoes and socks are required to enter the bridge. You can admire the scenery of reefs, lighthouses, and haenyeo (female divers).
Capsule Train🚞
We took the train from Cheongsapo to Oe Pohang, which is Haeundae, and the journey took about 20 minutes. The views in order are the ocean, forest, and cityscape. There are options for 2, 3, or 4 people, each with different prices, and tickets can be purchased online in advance! It is recommended to visit after 4 pm to enjoy the sunset over the ocean and the city forest.
APEC Nurimaru APEC House🏙
Built to commemorate the successful hosting of the APEC meeting, the APEC Memorial Hall has three floors. The first floor is an outdoor courtyard🏡, the second floor is a high-end banquet hall, and the third floor allows entry into the Nurimaru APEC House. You can witness the scene of the APEC meeting from that year.
Distant view of Haeundae🌁
When traveling to Busan, Haeundae is a must-visit. From the APEC Nurimaru APEC House, you can view Haeundae from a distance, with the Haeundae sea-crossing bridge shrouded in mist. The place has its own unique charm with the sea, clouds, and bridge. There are relatively few people who come here to watch~
Haedong Yonggungsa Temple🛕
It is a temple built by the sea. It is one of the three major sacred places of Guanyin in the hearts of Koreans (Xiangyang Luoshan Temple, South Sea Bodhi Hermitage, Haedong Yonggungsa Temple). The temple wonderfully combines the sea, dragons, and Guanyin, making it very efficacious. Built in 1376, it has a history of over 600 years and is the southernmost temple in Korea.
Travel tips:
