In Onsenkyo of Omachi, Hakuba has a ski resort in winter and an Alps climbing route in summer. Inside Onsenkyo you can find TOMAMU Hoshino Resort. Not only picturesque Alps but also rural experience of pit furnace is here for you. The house in the shape of ptarmigan looks very distinctive.

#skitrip the powder snow! I flew to Nagano❄️ I often hear people talk about how cool the powder snow in Hakuba is, but I didn't realize how refreshing it was until I experienced it myself! Take the Shinkansen 🚄 from Tokyo to Nagano Station, and then take the hot spring hotel's shuttle bus directly to the hotel. The whole trip is very convenient. The hotel provides a shuttle bus 🚌 to Hakuba Goryu Ski Resort 🎿 (about 40 minutes by car). After skiing every day, I return to the hotel to soak in the hot springs, which feels particularly comfortable. The open-air hot springs can also see the magnificent scenery of the Alps, which can relax both the body and mind. Hakuba Goryu and Hakuba47 ski resorts have a wide range of ski trails, and the cable cars are very fast, and there is almost no need to queue. The slope of the ski resort is also friendly to novices. It happened to be a heavy snow on the day we arrived❄️, and the powder snow covered the entire slide. It didn't hurt to fall, and it was very cool to ski! The hot spring hotel has a lounge with a brick door in Hakuba Goryu 🏨, and I also found a particularly beautiful big tree in the ski resort, which became an unexpected check-in point. This hotel is an authentic folk-style cottage with a strong atmosphere. You can drink a cup of hot sake by the fireplace, which is a warm enjoyment after skiing. The scenery at Hakuba Wulong Ski Resort is absolutely beautiful. As long as you learn to heel side and use the fallen leaves to float down, you can see the big view. On one side is the entire mountain range in the distance sprinkled with icing sugar, and on the other side is the ice-covered and approaching snow-capped mountains. It is a scenery that you can easily see~ Even if you don't slide down, it's worth taking the cable car up to take pictures and see the scenery, and then taking the cable car down to be cheeky❤️

Now is a great time to hit the slopes in Hakuba Goryu Japan, this is a great start to the snow season with wonderful snowfall over the past few weeks, and it doesn't seem like it will stop anytime soon Goryu has a large main ski area neighbouring Goryu Iimori ski resort just outside Escal plaza at the bottom of the mountain which is lit up for night skiing, as well as a gondola to the top with amazing views of the Hakuba valley, some advanced runs and the ability to ski all the way back to Escal plaza or to a neighbouring ski resort Hakuba 47

If you wanna ski or snowboard in Japan, Hakuba is one of the best towns you should stay. It has at least 7 snow resorts and we managed to get our Epic Pass from Vail resorts, so we were able to get accessed to most of the resorts. ⛷️ we went to Hakuba at early Jan 2023, which was the first season that Japan announced to open to foreigner visitors since Covid. The runs there were super groomed, facility was amazing and well designed. I would recommend to ski at least once in Japan for the best experience
