As an in house guest, you can take free golf training, engage in resort activities, rent a bicycle to roam around properties and have afternoon tea, picnic and delicious dinner with the mind blowing view of the resort. Avg. Price per Person - $50/night or above Rating - Handara Golf Resort is one of the biggest golf resort in Bali spread across sprawling land surrounded by lush jungle and beautiful lake. The resort was established in 1974 in Bedugul area of Bali which is rich in flora and fauna. It is a massive property and well maintained. The restaurants are recently renovated and some of them are under renovation. We had wonderful experience during our staycation here. PS The weather is unpredictable here so it’s better to be prepared with warm clothes, Raincoat and sports wear.

Another great place in Bali is the Handara Golf & Resort Bali, which is located in a remote location a couple of hours drive from Ubud. The beautiful golf courses designed by professionals, the perfect view of the volcano Bratan, and from time to time — rain and fog. The best way to get away from the welcoming heat of the island in the early days! Definitely worth a stop!

As a mentioned in my previous post, I’ve also played at the Handara Golf Course near the Danau Beratan, up in the mountains of Bali. This was special because the course is located in a valley. That means that, because you are at altitude, it’s cool and that enhances your play. Even at midday, the temperature is not high. #balitrip Returning again to have some peace and quiet from city life...great escapade. This time around, I am very disappointed though that they have removed the iconic photos that had been hanging at their main lobby, depicting Handara's history. A big mistake. Do consider to put the photos back up and get your distinct identity back! Even though it is an old hotel but the deluxe garden golf view room is satisfying. It does not need any air conditioner since it’s cool and colder at night. But again it depends subjectively. The service is good and helpful.. very welcoming during my stay. We rent the free bike (not the electric) and ride around the area. It was a pleasant experience. It is a very nice getaway to a cooler, lush environment away from the hustle and bustle of busy otherwise Bali hotspots. I can comment on the golf course as i didn not use it but seems well maintained. The chalets are nice but can be a bit noisy as they share a wall and the soundproofing is not great.

been few times coming to this place. this place is huge with lots of facilities you can enjoy. This place has a big forest and accomodation available such as villa and suite room with breakfast. Handara Golf & Resort Bali also has one of the best Golf area in Bali which is worth to try even if you’re beginner. They also have really good restaurant with variety of food and beverages. I brought my own scooter and enjoy the view of this place. This place is located in Bedugul,Bali which is surrounded by the lake and the atmosphere is bit cold.
