These intricately carved gates act as portals that connect the physical world with spiritual realm. This feature is quite popular in Bali and Java islands and signify the concept of duality and balance between two forces. I personallv find these structures quite intriguing and welcoming.

#bucketlistreboot during our visit to bali, indonesia. We knew we had to visit this iconic photoworthy gate, upon our arrival we were in awe of how gorgeous it is in real life. The gates were smaller than expected but the breathtaking view made up for it! Do take note that it may get crowded by all the tourist so you will have to line up & wait your turn before you can take your photo! I would recommend coming early morning to avoid the crowd :) The gate is located north of bali around Bendugul area, There is also an entrance fee of 10,000 IDR which is not too bad, you'll have to pay to the security tent at the entrance. Handara Gate is mainly a photo spot with not much else to do. Located in the mountains, the weather was rainy and cold during my visit, making the experience less enjoyable.

Waking up early to pack and get ready for the journey ahead. Today, we are heading to a waterfall, but along the way, we decided to stop and take some photos at another landmark, Gate Bali Handara. We were very lucky to encounter fog on the mountain the day we visited. Not far from there is the Ulundanu Beratan Temple, an ancient temple of the Balinese people, which is very beautiful. The mountain view in the background adds even more charm to the place.

#May Travel Support Event When touring northern Bali, the place that people who want to take pretty pictures stop by is Handara Gate. It is used as the entrance to Handara Golf Course, so there are a lot of people, so the waiting time can be long, and you have to pay 30,000 to take pictures.

#indonesiatrip The gate is actually an entrance to the Handara Golf course, a scenic place to get some shots, you have a person at the gate to take your photos and the charges are 10k per person (for just taking your photos excluding ticket) wouldn't say he is a pro at it because he had clicked so many photographs of a single pose and spammed my gallery but i guess it is just worth it because he takes the reflection photo with a mirror, you would need to buy the tickets at the parking and wait your turn to take the photographs, there is another person who calls out the number and if it corresponds to your ticket then it's your turn for the photos, had fun clicking some nice pics here

Temple near the beach. Very beautiful beach against the temple, could see the beach from the temple. My family enjoy the trip but the weather is too hot and sunny.

Bali trip won't be complete without taking photo with this scenery. We stayed in the city, it took us almost an hour to travel to this place. Views are amazing along the way. We prefer to open the car windows while travelling, can feel the cooling breeze of air. Since this is one of the tourist spot, we came here early to avoid long qeues. I cannot believe that its really a gate and its an entrance to a golf course. It really amazed us that all of their gates in bali looks alike, you can see consistency. After few minutes of photo taking, qeue started and its getting hotter. Its really nice to visit early. Some man helped us take photos but need to pay, but if one you is a great photographer then better you can just take by yourself, but any ways photos are great though. #Handaragate #bali #Wandermum
