This park is located on a hill overlooking Yokohama Port, and is especially popular for the colorful roses that bloom in spring and autumn. It's amazing that you can see this for free! It's so spacious that you'll be impressed, and the roses are well-maintained. The rose tunnel in Photo 1 is one of the most popular photo spots. It's extremely difficult to take pictures of this place without anyone, especially on holidays, so I went there at 5:30 in the morning, but there were more photographers than I expected, so it was still difficult to take pictures. Still, there are fewer people than during the day, and there are four tunnels, so if you wait a little, you'll have a good chance of taking pictures without anyone. The yellow tunnel in Photo 2 is even more difficult to photograph. There is only one tunnel here, and it seemed like photographers who wanted to take pictures of pets and children were waiting in line, so when I went there last year, I gave up on taking pictures without anyone. 'Minatonomieru Oka Park' is located in the Minato Mirai area of Yokohama. The Minato Mirai area is a very attractive town, with Chinatown, bayside shopping malls, retro and stylish buildings from the time of the port's opening, Japanese gardens, and an izakaya street. Great option to experience nature while still in the city center. You can see a lot of flowers in the park, and the view of the city is spectacular. You should try to go there in the evening to watch the sunset. In 2024, I want to come back here.
