When you come to the Peak, in addition to watching the scenery from the observation deck, you can also try to walk around the Peak to enjoy a different view of Hong Kong Island. The Peak Loop Walking Trail is an easy and easy hiking trail, and some of the trails have a century-old "plank road". Walking on it, you can enjoy the beautiful and moving urban landscape of Hong Kong from a commanding height. The Peak Loop Trail starts at Lugard Road next to The Tower. Lugard Road was built between 1913 and 1914 and named after the 14th Governor of Hong Kong, Sir Lugard, and some sections of the road are "plank roads". A 20-minute walk along Lugard Road will bring you to the Lugard Road Viewpoint, where you will have a spectacular panoramic view of Victoria Harbour! The scenery here is picturesque, and you can take good photos at your fingertips! Next to Lugard Road is Xia Li Road. If you follow this path, you can return to the Peak Tower and complete the trail on the top of the mountain. Harley Road is a tree-lined road, about 15 minutes away from the end point. There is a waterfall near the section below Mount Austin Amusement Park, with a pleasant scenery. Xia Lidao is flat and easy to walk throughout, and many people love to jog here. If time and physical strength permit, you can take the route from the top of the mountain to the Pok Fu Lam Reservoir to enjoy the two different landscapes from the city to the dense jungle.
