Hase Temple is located in Sakurai City, Nara Prefecture. It is a very famous temple in the area. It was recorded in the novel "The Tale of Genji". There are three must-see attractions when you come to Hase Temple. First, there are as many as 7,000 peony flowers. When the flowering period comes, Changgu Temple will be crowded with tourists who admire the flowers. The second is the winding promenade built on the mountainside of Hatsuse. There are beautiful lanterns hanging on both sides of the promenade. It is full of ancient charm and surrounded by clusters of flowers, including peonies, hydrangea, and azaleas, which are very beautiful. . The third is the eleven-sided Guanyin woodcarved Buddha statue enshrined in the main hall at the end of the promenade. It should be mentioned that this Kannon statue and the Kannon of Kamakura Hase Temple are carved from the same piece of nanmu, and they are both precious religious works of art.
