It was a trip to Gangneung, Korea 🇰🇷 During our recent visit to Gangneung, we discovered a hidden gem 💎 of South Korea, offering a perfect blend of coastal beauty, cultural heritage, and stunning landscapes. I’d highly recommend exploring this city if you’re looking for places that are both visually captivating and rich in history 🙌 We started our day early at Gyeongpo Beach🏖️ one of the most popular spots for visitors seeking a serene sunrise 🌅 experience. The vast stretch of golden sand meets the sparkling ocean, and the tranquil atmosphere makes it the perfect place to snap photos 📸 We arrived at around 6:00 AM, just as the first light hit the horizon, creating an ethereal glow ✨ The view is truly breathtaking, and I would highly recommend coming here if you’re looking for an early morning escape 👌 📍Gyeongpo, Gangneung-si, Gangwon-do, South Korea We also headed over to Ojukheon House 🏠 one of Gangneung’s oldest and most significant historical sites. Haslla Art World is one of the most Instagrammable places in Gangneung. Its so beautiful right there be it inside the museum and outside. Overlooking the beautiful blue 🌊 ocean. I couldn’t take my eyes off the amazing views…There are immersive exhibits, art, and sculptures from the floor to the ceiling and in every room of the museum… and even beyond onto the mountainside nearby. There is also pinnocho museum that is famous.. so pretty cool to check it out! And not to mention this whole museum is HUGEEE! can easily spent like 3hours minimum here. So do buffer your time well here.. every spot is so instagramable 😂 So i would advice to spend the whole day here to slowly appreciate all the art installations and exhibitions! i really love all the installations especially those outdoor ones. Is a must visit so do include this into your list if you are coming to gangneung!

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Haeslla, which I thought was a foreign name, was actually an old name for Gangneung during the Goguryeo Dynasty, which made me like it even more. The space features various installation and land art, as well as modern art pieces that never cease to amaze me, all arranged in perfect harmony with photo zones scattered throughout. After the tour, I finished off with a cup of tea and a sweet dessert at the ocean view cafe, completing a satisfying sensory journey.
