Address: 3 Lim Chu Kang Lane 4, Singapore 718859 Highlights: Hay Dairies is the only surviving goat farm in Singapore and now provides fresh goat milk locally. It was named after the Hay Family who has been running the farm for over two decades. With over 700 goats in the farm, the owner plans to increase the number fourfold by 2025. You can buy the Alfalfa Hay for $5 per packet to feed the goats. You may also pet the super cute baby goats, do remember to wash your hands after that. They open to the public to view the milking process which starts around 9am and lasts until 10.30am every day. The farm is located quite far away from the city, limited parking space, but worth visiting, eating local and supporting the local farming community. It has a free entrance. One of the less known places in Singapore is Hay Diaries, Singapore’s only goat farm since 1988! 😍 Located in the more suburban area in Lim Chu Kang, you will not regret visiting even though it is a little~~~ out of the way. You can get there by public transport (🚌 bus service 975) opposite Choa Chu Kang MRT station. At Hay Diaries, you will get to see the milking process of the goats, and this is so interesting if you have never got a chance to see it in real life. To make the visit more fun, you can feed the goats by purchasing a packet of hay at just $5. An enjoyable experience especially for families with kids! Lastly, you can get to purchase fresh goat milk from their counters, it is available in original and chocolate flavour! Hanging out with animals are a child's favourite thing to do. Just the other day, we brought our two boys to the Goat Farm called Hay dairies at 3 Lim Chu Kang Lane 4. Apparently, it is the one and only goat farm in Singapore and If you come early between 9-10.30am, you would be able to see milking demonstration of the goats. If you missed the goats milking session like we did, you could also feed the goats instead. You can purchase bags of alpha hay for goat feeding and each bag of hay cost $5. Do note that purchase of the hay is only till 3pm. My 2 boys had fun interacting with the goats, seeing them lazing in the barn and of course feeding them. The farm also sells goats milk which is very nutritious. Do pop by the farm and have a fun time with the family! #celebratewithtrip #tripblazers

#zoofun Hay Dairies is Singapore's only goat farm located north in the Kranji Countryside. Upon reaching the farm, you can get to watch the goats being milked by the staff. They used specialised equipment to do so, likely because it will be more hygienic and efficient that way. This is done only in the morning till 10.30am, so do go early if you do not want to miss this. You can also purchase a bag of hay to feed the goats lined up on both sides to satisfy their voracious appetites; an activity sure to entertain both kids and adults alike. Before leaving, you can purchase goat milk from their shop which is their signature selling item, provided if you are okay with the taste. Alternatively, they sell other souvenirs too. The farm is open everyday except Tuesday, from 9am till 4pm, so take note of the opening hours to avoid disappointment. Admission is free. However, do note that it is not so easily accessible and it is difficult to get there via public transport. Self driving is recommended. But be warned that it can get extremely crowded on weekends and holidays, and due the narrow driveways traffic jams can occur. Personally, I would prefer to arrive there early in the morning and on a weekday if possible. But if you have kids, this place is still a great opportunity for them to explore the farm away from their textbooks, and instill a love and compassion for animals early.
