The dark and snow in Helsinki

Helsinki is a beautiful city in winter but also very cold. During my trip, the weather is very cold at 15 degree C. Some people may enjoy the snowy scenery, the festive lights, and the cozy saunas, while others may feel depressed, isolated, or bored:
Helsinki in winter can also be a lonely place, especially for those who are not used to the long nights and the lack of social activities. Some people may feel isolated and depressed, and miss the sunshine and the warmth of their home country. It can be hard to make friends and connect with the locals, who are often reserved and quiet. Some people may also suffer from seasonal affective disorder (SAD), which is a type of depression that occurs during the winter months due to the lack of natural light.
For those who love nature and outdoor activities, Helsinki in winter can be an adventure. There are many opportunities to explore the nearby national parks, such as Nuuksio and Porvoo, where one can see the wildlife, hike, ski, snowshoe, or sled. Some people may also want to visit Lapland, the northernmost region of Finland, where one can see the northern lights, meet Santa Claus, and ride a reindeer or a husky sled. Some people may feel excited and curious to discover the different aspects of Finland's nature and culture.
