[2025 Boracay Island Stay] Travel Guide for Henann Regency Resort and Spa (Updated Mar)

Being a first-timer visiting Boracay, I have read that it’s better to stay in Station 2 as this is the center and the liveliest area in the island with the night life especially booming in this area. We also wanted to stay at a beachfront hotel to be able to get a beautiful view of the beach from our rooms. Henann Regency Resort & Spa both satisfy our preferences. The hotel maybe located in Station 2 where the party and crowd are happening, it still has the peace and relaxation you need as the hotel resort is huge. The hotel is perfectly set backed from the beach allowing enough beachfront space for the hotel guests. Since our room is in the middle but still beachfront, we weren’t bothered by any outside noise. The rooms we booked were premier rooms and there were noticeable wears and tears but did not really affect the quality of stay that we had. The hotel room is just what we needed. The hotel has a lot of pools if you ever get tired of swimming in the beach. Another positive note is that the buffet breakfasts provided by Henann hotels are popular so we availed them upon our hotel booking. The breakfast buffet was impressive as they offer a wide variety. The hotel is also surrounded by a ton of restaurants of all cuisines and budget tiers. The beachfront and pool staff were the best as they were very attentive in giving out towels and mats for when lounging in either the beach or the pool. The only downside I can think of though is that the road to entrance is not nice but still passable and okay. The restaurant is located in a hotel called Henann Regency Resort & Spa, on the breach front. We were attracted by the dancing chefs’ performance and decided to have buffer dinner here. The ambience was great. There was a wide selection of fresh seafood, meat, vegetables and desserts, local, Asian and western, really value for money. Due to the crowds, seating was limited. There was also a live band performed by local singers. I love the unique dining experience here very much. Big thumbs up to all the staff. We had so much fun eating, singing and dancing together. I tend to always reserve a pool access room when I go to a Southeast Asian swimming pool!! I really liked Henan Regency Spa!! It was especially great because the swimming pool was right there + the pool bar was right in front of me! It felt like swimming as soon as I opened my eyes in the morning...! We have visited this place many times and is always our to go to. Relaxing, comfortable and affordable. The sunset is stunning and never fails to show off. We took a hop on hop off ride that you can get for 200php depending on which package you want. I can see it was well worth it. The island is not so big so you can go around in a day or so to explore. You can come back the one you like most and spend time there as you want. Aside from the powdery white sand beach of Stations 1-3 there is also the other side which is Bulabog beach. It is full of kite surfers and more of adventurous stuff. This place is not so much developed like the white beach. However, there are a lot of beautiful and cozy looking accommodations too. We will explore more next time. Farther from white beach and bulabog is another beautiful beach, Fairways, NewCoast etc. This looks like more of high end condo living type of accommodation. Far from the busy affordable Station 1-3. The sand is still white but a bit rough but as beautiful as the rest. There is also Puka beach which can be both reached by an island hopping or thru land trip, tricycles, hop on hop off. this We have been to Puka beach before thru island hopping but this time we went there thru land trip. It is not far. So far it was a great trip and invigorating. Definitely a place I can recommend to anyone. The people here chill, friendly and accommodating. Hotel prices depending on which station or beach you decide to stay.

There are several resorts of moderate size in Boracay, Philippines. Among them, Henan Regency Resort is one of the larger ones among the Henan groups. However, the lobby is not that grand, and is a similar size to the lobbies of other Henan resorts. To be honest, I was a little disappointed because the lobby was smaller than the huge lobbies of Southeast Asian resorts, but Boracay resorts are not large in general, and the lobbies are also small. The lobby of the Boracay Henan Regency Resort is just the right size without the bubbles.
