Looking at the Sea by the Mountain | West High Mountain, Hong Kong | Mountain Climbing Hiking
| West High Mountain, Hong Kong | Mountain Climbing Hiking.⛰ On the weekend, my sisters and I in Hong Kong chose the easiest hiking route, which not only allows us to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but also helps to relieve stress.
🌊West High Mountain is located in the Central and Western District of Hong Kong. It is the fourth highest mountain in Hong Kong and the only one in the Hong Kong Island District. It offers the most relaxing yet most beautiful scenery, and it's free, which makes it 'extremely cost-effective'.
🚶🏻♂️We took a taxi directly to the top of Victoria Peak, replenished supplies at the mall on the top of the mountain, and then continued to climb up along the small road next to it. There are more stairs and the road is narrower. It took us about an hour to reach the top. We enjoyed the breeze on the mountain, took a rest and took pictures, and then walked down the mountain for another hour. The road was easy to walk.
💙There is an observation deck on the top of the mountain, and there is a sign commemorating the date of the climb. The mountain is really refreshing, with all kinds of beautiful scenery in sight, including Victoria Harbour, Tung Po Chau Strait, panoramic view of Hong Kong Island and Kowloon, ICC, Pok Fu Lam Reservoir, and a distant view of the luxury houses in Mid-Levels.
🍹Back to the mall on the top of Victoria Peak, we had a cup of Nayuki's tea to relax, and then returned to Central, where there are various food gathering places, which is extremely convenient. By the way, the menu of Nayuki in Hong Kong is slightly different from that in mainland China.
