⚫︎Himeshima Shrine
Himeshima Shrine enshrines Agaruhime, a female deity who decided and acted on "restarting," and is said to grant the power to revive and make a new start. For this reason, it is also called the "restart shrine."
⚫︎Access
6 minutes walk west from Hanshin Railway's Himejima Station
Or 23 minutes walk west from JR's Tsukamoto Station
Or 15 minutes walk east from Hanshin Namba Line's Fuku Station
Characteristics of the shrine as a new start
⚫︎Curved torii gate
The unusual shape of the torii gate, which points sharply upwards. It represents the desire to rise.
⚫︎Windmill
It represents arriving blessed with good winds.
⚫︎Fan
Place something you want to send a good wind to on the stand in front of the windmill, and spin the windmill with the fan next to it.
※Don't forget what you want to send a good wind to!
⚫︎Scallop votive tablet
Since Akaruhime-no-mikoto was able to set good sails and escape to this place by boat, it is filled with the wish that those starting anew will proceed smoothly.
⚫︎ Foundation of the Beginning
You will be given a red ball called "Cutting Ball" along with the ema,
and you will be able to make your wish come true by thinking about what you want to cut off and "passing it through the hole at the top of the Monument of the Beginning".
In fact, you can't hang the ema unless you pass through here, so you have to keep throwing it over and over until it passes through.
Keep throwing patiently~🥠
