The cable car runs every hour, 20 minutes, and 40 minutes, and costs 500 yen round trip and 300 yen one way. #springblossom Blessed with very good weather, the blue sky and Kanmon Strait, tulips, cherry blossoms, it was the best location. There were a lot of people with their dogs 🐕 I was taking pictures. Despite the weekdays, I waited for 30 minutes for many cars to enter the parking lot. But it was worth the wait☺️A nice little park atop Hinoyama. There is a small gift shop, viewing platform and eating area at the top also. There is a cable car line up to the top, but in all my visits I never used it. The view from the top of the mountain is pretty spectacular. You can take in the whole of the Kanmon strait, looking across to Kyushu. You also get great views towards Shimonoseki city and Korea (though obviously Korea isn't visible). There is also what I assume to be an old artillery fort with old bunkers and gun emplacements that you can explore. Quite creepy at night.
