Hirado Bridge, Ikitsuki Bridge, and sunset in Nagasaki
Drive to Nagasaki & Sleep in the Car
The course I'm introducing this time is to leave Saga City by car, go to Hirado Bridge → Ikitsuki Bridge → Ikitsuki Island, watch the sunset, sleep in the car, and return.
First, to get to Hirado Bridge, you can go via Imari or Sasebo. This time, I went via Sasebo. There are many large ships in Sasebo Port, and I continued on while looking at rare ships. When I arrived at Hirado Bridge, there was an observation deck and a shop. The color of Hirado Bridge is red, so it stands out against the blue sky. There is an observation deck and a rest area, so I took a break. Then, I headed to Ikitsuki Island. There is Ikitsuki Island Bridge connecting Hirado Island and Ikitsuki Island, and as soon as you cross the bridge, there is a road station (Ikitsuki Bridge). From there, you can see Ikitsuki Bridge. The color of the bridge is light blue. It's quite beautiful when you see it up close. To the north of the island, there is the Obae Lighthouse. I watched the sunset near it. We also parked our car in a square along the island's seafront and spent the night in it on the way home.
