The Yehe Nara clan was named after the Yehe River, and Yehe Nara Ancient City is an important birthplace of the Manchu people. It was the most powerful Jurchen tribe, and the birthplace of Empress Xiaocigao, Empress Dowager Cixi, and Empress Dowager Longyu, which is why Yehe Nara Ancient City is also known as the "Hometown of Three Empresses." When Yehe Nara City was occupied by Nurhaci, the city lord swore, "Even if there is only one woman left in Yehe Nara, she will destroy the Manchu state."
