This is the place where the founder started his business and he stayed here. It's an old double storey shop house. The staff is friendly and give a brief history about the founder and the place. The museum is very clean and well maintained. Entrance is free of charge. The museum is small but interesting, with history about the founder Ho Yan Hor and his herbal tea company. Best part of the experience is the complementary herbal tea tasting session in the end. The herbal tea is served after the tour and you may purchase from them. Would have around 30min to walk around this museum. Staff are very friendly and did not give any pressure regarding buying their products. This may be a less visited place in Ipoh. it is less than 5 min walk from the Ho Yan Hor museum. We did not expect much when we drop by and in fact wanted to give it a miss. Saved by the hot sun, we decided to give it a try. Some pictures are attached. They show the raw state. It requires some creativity to make the subject looks interesting in the upside down perspective. Spent a fun hour inside with many interesting photos.
