HoiHaWan (English: HoiHaWan, Jone's Cove) is located on the north coast of Sai Kung Peninsula, Hong Kong. It belongs to Sai Kung West Country Park geographically and belongs to Sai Kung North, Tai Po District in administrative division. It is the second marine park in Hong Kong. The location of Hoi Ha Wan Marine Park , covers an area of 2.6 square kilometers, and is bounded by the tip of Xiangluojiao, Yinzhou, Mozhou and Wanchai Coffin Corner. In the southwest corner of Hoi Ha Bay, there is a village called HoiHa, which, as the name suggests, is a place near the sea ("xia" means close). Hai Ha Wan is an area of high ecological value and has a high degree of biodiversity. This is because Hai Ha Wan has a natural barrier to prevent the influx of seawater impurities, so that the seawater is relatively clean, thereby improving a good marine environment. It is home to many marine organisms. In the sea, most coral species can be identified. Hai Ha Wan used to be a diving hotspot, but not anymore. In order to maintain the ecosystem of Hoi Ha Wan, the Hong Kong government listed it as one of the Hong Kong Marine Parks on July 5, 1996, and made legislation to prohibit any anthropogenic activities that affect the ecosystem, such as fishing, fishing trawling, and the use of nitroglycerin. Fishing with dynamite or cyanide, removal of seafood or coral, etc.
