Had a good get away short trip to stay at Holiday Inn Resort Batam. It just about an hour ferry ride from Singapore. This resort is suitable for family with young kids and basically you can some fun spending time just within the resort. There are 4 main restaurants, Chinese, Thai, Japanese and main lobby restaurants for Breakfast. The service was good and there is also a Spa facility with reasonable pricing offering. The pool is kids friendly. There is a kids club and a well equipped gym. This is a recommended resort if you want to get away from the usual crowds and away from Singapore!

It was a very pleasant trip. All the staff were welcoming and smiling. Although it was my first time staying at Holiday Inn, I was still pleasantly surprised by the environment of the resort. We stayed in a two-bedroom family room, which had a large double bed, two single beds, two bathrooms, a dining table, and a balcony. The resort has four restaurants, tennis courts, a sports room, a gym, a massage center, etc. There is a special car to pick up from the pier to the hotel, and a free bus to the downtown shopping mall on weekends. It was a perfect trip.

#spamagic The Tree Tree Spa at Holiday Inn Resort Batam is one of the best spas in Batam ! I had the opportunity to try our their spa services couple of years back before covid struck when I went for a holiday trip with a good friend at the Holiday Inn hotel. We made an advance reservation and were very glad that we did as the slots for massages were very fast taken! We took the 1 hour Javanese massage and it was almost heavenly. The massage therapist was very good and I felt very relaxed after my massage at the end of the session. Would love to go back again for another spa session once travel opens up and this time round I will go for a longer session so I can enjoy more!
