Hondo-ji Temple, a famous spot known as the Kamakura of the North
About 50,000 hydrangeas of about 40 varieties are in full bloom.
It is also a famous spot for irises, and although they had finished blooming,
we were able to enjoy both.
It was the day after it rained,
so we were able to admire the hydrangeas covered in rain.
The admission fee for hydrangeas and irises was 500 yen.
When I searched using the car navigation system,
I was directed to a narrow, difficult-to-pass road behind the temple.
I managed to find it, but
when searching, it seems to be better to use the address Akamon-ya, in front of the temple gate.
