#cherryblossom25 If you’re into cherry blossoms but not the idea of elbowing through huge crowds, Honjō Multi-Purpose Park is where it’s at. This place has a super chill, local vibe that makes you feel like you’ve just stumbled into a neighborhood sakura party, minus the chaos. There’s a solid spread of cherry trees lining the paths and open spaces, so it’s perfect for a picnic or a lazy stroll. The trees bloom beautifully in spring, and the whole park gets this soft pink glow that’s total springcore. Sometimes they’ve got little events or food stalls going on during blossom season, which just adds to the vibe. Nothing too flashy, just good snacks, good scenery, and a relaxed atmosphere. It’s not Insta-famous (yet), but that’s kinda what makes it great. If you’re into low-key hanami with a lot of heart, this park delivers.

At the end, there was an all-you-can-eat Akagi Nyugyo ice cream for about 20 minutes, but I was surprised to see someone eating 5 pieces while 2 was my limit lol I also had a lot of fun drawing fortune-telling sticks as a souvenir

#thingstodo Honjo Shrine is rare in the whole country, and it is a power spot where you can visit the four gods representing Japan together. The reason is that starting from Honjo Shrine, there is Mt. Fuji, a sacred mountain of mountain worship in the east, Hakusan Shrine, which is also a mountain worship in the north, Izumo Taisha Shrine in the west, and Ise Jingu Shrine in the south. This Honso Shrine is located in the place where the four places just intersect the cross. It is unique to Gifu Prefecture, the center of Japan. First, there is a worship hall, and behind it is the main hall. There is a small shrine office on the right side of the worship hall, and it handles amulets, goshuin, fortunes, etc. Overall, it is a shrine with a quiet appearance.

The temple is a sacred symbol that has been deeply ingrained in the hearts of Vietnamese people since ancient times. Japan is also a country with many temples, but recently, many Vietnamese temples have increased. Vietnamese temples not only provide spiritual support for Vietnamese people but also help those who have difficulties in life in Japan. The temple is currently run by nun Thich Tam Tri. Every year, the temple organizes events such as Western New Year, Lunar New Year, Buddha's Birthday in April, Vu Lan festival... In addition, the temple also has activities to unite the Vietnamese community in Japan, towards the country.

Today is September 15th, and I participated in the monthly festival at the Inner Shrine of Isehara Daijingu from 8am. I offered a Tamakushi to the great deity and made a formal bow, two claps, one bow. From 11am, I participated in the Segaki ceremony at Daifukuji Temple in the city. It is an annual event where all the parishioners gather in the temple grounds, listen to a sermon by the head priest, and replace the old stupas with new ones. It seems that as you approach 70, you just can't help but participate in Buddhist and divine events❣️
