A beautiful autumn escape from the nearby cities of Osaka, Kyoto or Nara, the Hoshi no Buranko bridge in Hoshida Park is well worth the trip. Hoshida Park is a prefecture level forest park in the Ikoma mountains. In autumn, the leaves are transformed into stunning red, orange and yellow shades, with the hillside almost on fire with colour. The walk itself starts at Kisaichi station, from where it's around a two hour round-trip to the Hoshi no Buranko bridge.
