It's the highlight of the annual Hotel Icon! This year is the third consecutive year that Hotel Icon will hold the Malaysian Durian Festival. In the past two years, the Durian Festival has been sought after by many durian fans. It is a major event in the food industry. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the hotel, the hotel will launch two celebrations, an upgraded durian afternoon tea at The MARKET and a ten-session durian buffet brunch at the Silverbox Ballroom on the first floor of the hotel.
The durian buffet brunch features 16 unexpected durian dishes and desserts. Three of them will be presented in the form of one per person, including the main Malaysian durian pulp platter, where guests can taste five top durian flavors at once (children can enjoy two), including D197 Cat's Eye from Penang Chau, D175 Red Shrimp and D163 Gourd from Penang, D101 Johor Gold from Johor and Danny's highlighted mystery durian variety. D197 Cat's Eye pulp is golden yellow, full flesh, rich fragrance, fluffy and soft; second only to Cat's Eye, D175 red shrimp flesh is beautiful orange-red, sweet and light cream aroma, smooth taste; D163 gourd flesh is thicker, also golden yellow, sweet taste; The last mysterious seasonal durian variety is the first to appear in Hong Kong, durian fans must not miss! In addition to the platter, guests will also enjoy Cat's Eye Durian and Silver Ear Stewed Red Dates and White Jade Soup. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, durian baked with precious mushrooms Boston lobster is filled with fresh mushrooms, chicken thigh mushrooms, ginseng mushrooms, horseradish, lobster meat and durian.
