I stayed here for one night as I planned to visit Mojiko and Shimonoseki the next day. Check-in and check-out were handled entirely through an automated payment machine. The staff kindly explained the process, making it very easy to understand. I booked a non-smoking single room for ¥5,180 per night, with an additional accommodation tax of ¥200 paid on-site. The room was very clean and equipped with free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a TV, a refrigerator, and an electric kettle. The hotel also offers amenities like coin-operated laundry machines and vending machines, ensuring a comfortable stay. The location is extremely convenient, being right next to JR Kokura Station, which is perfect for traveling via Shinkansen or local trains. The area around the station is bustling with commercial facilities and restaurants, adding to the convenience. Hotel Livemax Kokura Ekimae is conveniently located next to Kokura Station, the hub of rail access in Fukuoka and Kitakyushu. Kokura Station is a stop for the Shinkansen, local trains and limited express trains. There are tourist attractions such as Kokura Castle within walking distance. By train, you can easily access sightseeing spots such as Mojiko Port in Kitakyushu. Each hotel room is equipped with a microwave, so you can easily enjoy Kokura gourmet food such as yakiudon noodles, which originated in Kokura.
