Hotel Mahaina offered us a relaxing and peaceful stay during our time in northern Okinawa. Located near the Motobu and Nago areas, it’s well-positioned for those planning to explore local attractions like the Churaumi Aquarium or the beautiful coastline nearby. What stood out most about the hotel was the spaciousness of the room — larger than most typical Japanese accommodations. We appreciated the layout, which provided ample space to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The attached balcony opened up to sweeping views of the sea, making mornings and evenings feel extra serene. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though we did notice that some of the furniture and fixtures were dated. A bit of refurbishment would really elevate the experience, but even so, the essentials were all there, and everything functioned well. The hotel also had an onsen (hot spring bath), which added to the relaxation factor after a full day out. While the decor might not be the most modern, the calm atmosphere, warm service, and excellent location made up for it. During the trip to Okinawa, I stayed at Mahaina Wellness Resort Hotel. The hotel is a bit old and feels a bit old. The room smells a bit like sewage, which is not very good. Motobu Genki Village - The most enjoyable thing is the contact with dolphins. You can touch the dolphins up close, which feels amazing. Next time I have the chance I will join the dolphin swim. Okinawa Chura Aquarium has many marine creatures, and the best thing is to see whale sharks.

There's a Portama nearby, so we'll fill up and go to the pool! After that, we'll go to Gong Cha.
