Serving local delights with its uniqueness by burning it inside the bowel and covered up by flaming wood. This is the uniqueness of this local food! They burn the food below the flaming wood, that is unusual! This local food called BIKA. In addition to complete this heaven's food, I also ordered KAWA DAUN as my drink. Jam Gadang or big clock tower is very iconic in Bukit tinggi West Sumatera province Indonesia. Located just in the city center. Visitor also can try going around the city by taking horse.Around it there is traditional market you can buy craft gift thsirt and so on with affordable price. There are live music playing too. For the first time i visited this place, i can sure you that this place is super cozy. There are indoor and outdoor area for your comfort, slow music and excellent menus from 'em will not let you down👌 Small coffee shop but comfortable. Suitable for one who need to work away from office but need a cozy place. The only lack here is choice of snacks or food are limited to none. But im okay with that. This place just opened last year so it's kinda new. It's an industrial style coffee shop that offer various kind of coffee, tea and hot chocolate. I just wish they had some desserts too. In addition, they also have free wifi and both indoor and outdoor seating. So it's a good place for working alone with your laptop as well as chatting together with friends.

Great experience.. must visit this Nasi Kapau Uni Lis stall during your visit to Bukittinggi.. Authentic-minang food taste good and the price was really reasonable.. it's mouthwatering just to see all those food in front of you while you eat.. it makes you want to try as many different food as your stomach can handle.. As for me i really love their Gulai Tambunsu and the bamboo sprout curry.. that's truly heaven! Ask the people at the market the direction to this place since this stalls are located in the middle of a maze-like market so it might need a bit of effort to find it or simply by luck. This is one of the best guest house I've ever been in Bukitttinggi! It's a bit hard to find but you can just use the map to go to the place or just use Waze. The house is cute and the surrounding is very peaceful. Their dining area is surrounded by flowers. They also have a walkway at the side going up where they planted lot of beautiful flowers along it and you can go up and take pictures there. The breakfast make you full enough and if you want to iron your cloth you can get it from the staff. The price is super cheap and the owner is very nice as well. Simpang Raya Jam Gadang is one of the many oldest resto in Bukittinggi, the food taste very authentic, also you can see jam gadang while eating here bcs this resto in front of it. This is also another attraction for visitors. The service was quite good. The food was relatively okay. The price was so affordable for 3 people with a complete menu. Their AYAM POP is highly recommended! So lucky if you u can get a window seat you can enjoy the Jam Gadamg view and the humming roads and traffic nearby! Great experience! The name in Indonesian means “Istano Basa” means Big Castle, and it is a three-story building has been restored two times, after two fires destroyed it in the past. The trips I picked were to go holiday at Bukittinggi, West Sumatra. The place was so calming and heavenly peaceful. I really enjoy myself during the holiday. So why did I choose this place? First, my mom was born here (that means I'm staying at my grandmom's house), which is technically my hometown. Second, cause I know the place was pretty chilly and calming. I really did nothing other than sleep, eat, and sleep again. Places to go: On my 2nd day, I decided to go to their town, which is Bukittinggi, the place of tourist. It is also known as the top 3 biggest city in West Sumatra and one of the smallest towns in Indonesia (if I'm not mistaken). But if you all preferred a nature worth taking pictures, you all SHOULD go to Puncak Lawang. The view there was worth it so much! They also offered some adventure games, which are paragliding (about 20 minute of flying, the guide said) and flying fox (a short trip, not even 1 minute). Foods: In terms of food, it is hard for me to find a really good place since I preferred homecook (since I have a famly here, so why bother?). But if anything I would recommend you all to try their "Jangek Siram" or "Kerupuk Kulit Sapi Siram" (it is in the 4th picture) istg you could never go wrong with that food TOP OF THE TOP! All in all, I really enjoy myself so much! The kind of trip that my body really needs. To be away from the hustle of the city and be one (kinda) with nature? Can't wait to be back!

Actually I’m just arrived in Kuala Lumpur from Padang, Indonesia. Actually I got cheap flight ticket RM164 return from KL to Padang and padang to KL. It’s was cheap price flight ticket offered by Super Air Jet and I got free 20kg baggage 😱 it’s so cheap and the flight is good for me for first time try🤗 my itinerary as below: Day 1 Fly from KL to Padang We directly go to bukittinggi in our journey we stop to Bika Telago shop, Minang restaurant and souvenir shop Arrived at Bukittinggi around 9pm we check in and rest Day 2 Wake up early morning and our driver bring us to silver shop, desa terindah, puncak lawang, surau buya hamka, Rendang shop and Gadang House. At 6pm we are going back to Padang and 8pm we are arrive at hotel. Day 3 Wake up early morning and breakfast We are going to Malin Kundang Beach, Raya Mosque and siti nurbaya bridge. At 11.30 we are going to airport because our flight time 2.15pm. I had visited Mersi Hotel several times, the rooftop cafe to be exact, I was mesmerized by the beautiful view of the mountain and also modern buildings that makes it has two incredible vibes. If you want to enjoy the mountain view, then you should visit it at daytime, but if you want to enjoy the city and building lights, then you should visit it at night The food is okay with reasonable price The parking lot is not that spacious but usually not full so if you drive your car it should be fine #bukittinggi #nature
