The style in Morioka and Hanamaki where the noodles are constantly being added is famous, but there is another style in Hiraizumi where the noodles are served in bowls lined up, and there are many other charms that can't be described in a few words. Wankosoba is a type of soba that is traditionally served in Iwate Prefecture. The waiter puts bite-sized noodles that have been dipped in warm soba broth into the bowl. The waiter then adds more soba to the empty bowl. This continues until you are full, and the basic style is to "eat all the noodles in the bowl and close the lid without leaving any noodles behind." However, there are differences depending on the wankosoba restaurant that serves it.

[Points] ~A bright atmosphere is nice~ Hotel Metropolitan Morioka Main Building is a convenient hotel directly connected to the station. There is also a convenience store on the first floor that is open 24 hours a day. The lobby is spacious, and the sofas for waiting are large and comfortable. It was nice that there was a sign with an easy-to-understand explanation of the route of the circular bus "Den Den Mushi" that goes around Morioka city. There are a few souvenirs, so it seems like it's okay if you realize you forgot to buy something just before you leave. The Chinese restaurant in the building was a relaxing place to eat, so it's a recommended restaurant. [Points] ~A lovely, clean room~ This was my first time staying at Hotel Metropolitan Morioka Main Building. The walls were mainly white and the floors were mainly brown, making it a bright room. You could see Marios from the window. Amenities and teas are all available, so you can stay very comfortably. You can watch YouTube on the TV, so you won't get bored.
