Among the hot spring destinations in Taiwan, Beitou stands out for its proximity to Taipei, excellent spring quality, and recommendation as a health resort. It takes only 30 to 40 minutes to reach Beitou from Taipei with one subway transfer. Upon exiting Xinbeitou Station, there are numerous restaurants, fast food outlets, and various local food stalls. Based on a friend's recommendation, I stayed at the Hotel Royal Beitou. Conveniently located right in front of the station, the hotel features private hot spring baths in the rooms, allowing for leisurely enjoyment. Additionally, the hotel offers exclusive facilities for guests, including a large public bath, sauna, and gender-segregated indoor hot spring pools, making it a luxurious stay. While dinner is not included, nearby restaurants and a 24-hour supermarket make it easy to find beer and snacks. The breakfast was also healthy and satisfying. I plan to stay longer next time.

The bedside table is convenient for placing your phone, and the hidden wardrobe design includes robes and slippers. There's also a Bluetooth speaker. The bathroom's hot spring tub is spacious, and I love the Beitou white sulfur hot spring with its pleasant sulfur scent 🤭 🍽️Delicious Food: We chose a one-night stay with two meals. Dinner was French molecular cuisine combined with local Taiwanese ingredients, which was exquisite and delicious with ample portions! The Halloween-themed dessert was very fitting for the season! Even the vegetarian meal my mother-in-law ordered was delicious 😋 Breakfast included a main course and a buffet. I chose the Double Moon chicken soup, which was heartwarming and made me feel very happy. 💁♀️Thoughtful Service: We came to celebrate a birthday 🎉 The hotel thoughtfully provided a card and birthday cake 🎂 in the room. 🧘Free Activities: We participated in the evening fascia relaxation and afternoon yoga classes. In addition, the facilities in the room were also very complete. My name was directly displayed on the TV, which made me feel honored. Moreover, the sound quality of the speakers is also very good. Playing some music before going to bed at night makes me more relaxed. What impressed me most was the private hot spring in the room, which uses the white sulfur hot spring from Beitou Sulfur Valley, which has excellent spring quality.
