I was impressed by the wonderful stays I had had in Nagasaki and Nara in the past, but the location and meals at Setre Maiko exceeded my expectations and were a very satisfying inn. There are 5 types of rooms in total, and I stayed in the basic twin room. The balcony of the spacious 43 square meter room offers a spectacular view of the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge with Awaji Island on the opposite shore! I went to Setre, an auberge hotel that was awarded the title of "Japan's best seaside hotel with a spectacular view." Ryuichi Ashizawa's architectural chapel has won numerous awards both in Japan and abroad. This time, I stayed in the annex "Residential Suite," but since the entire building was reserved for us, we were given a key to the entrance door, and it felt like a little villa. The terrace was very spacious, and in front of us was a spectacular view of the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge and the ocean❤️ The sunset was beautiful, but the sunrise was also the most pleasant, and I was also very satisfied with the luxurious meal from room service❤️ In the club lounge, you can freely enjoy beer, wine, soft drinks, and even snacks. There are plenty of architectural magazines, and the rooms are comfortable, but I thought I could stay here forever lol. I was able to spend a luxurious and relaxing time here. I recommend it for anniversaries and other occasions☺️ The accommodation fee depends on the season, but I think it was around 150,000 yen. The long-awaited Setre Maiko was a wonderful hotel that exceeded my expectations (especially the view from the room was amazing). The food was also impressive and I was very satisfied.
