Like other European countries, spring and autumn are the best seasons to travel to Ireland. During my one year of staying here, I was fortunate to experience all four seasons in this country. Autumn is short but incredibly beautiful. Ireland is a green country, so you can imagine how stunning it is when all the trees turn yellow and red during the autumn. I still remember one day when the trees were green, and just after one night, my entire university had transformed completely. Ireland is full of superb landscapes that make it very clear why its nickname: Emerald Isle. But, if your trip is limited to Dublin, you might think that much-hyped green color is missing. Nothing is further from reality. In addition to the capital's parks, you shouldn't miss out on visiting the small fishing village – well, increasingly more touristy and residential and less fishing – of Howth. A getaway of a few hours that will reconcile you with your idea of ​​the Irish green and almost an essential among the things to see in Dublin. Put on comfortable shoes and be prepared to do some walking. That was what we did with a nine-kilometre hiking trail –about three hours because the landscapes were well worth stopping constantly to photograph them– that took us from the station to the highest point on the peninsula and back. Howth Harbor is a beautiful village located on a peninsula at the northern end of Dublin Bay, known for its rich natural beauty and historical charm. It is a tourist destination about 30 minutes by train from Dublin, the capital of Ireland, featuring stunning cliff walks, a traditional fishing port, and a beautiful coastline. Historically, it has thrived on fishing and maritime culture, and is now also known as an upscale residential area. The views of Ireland's Eye and the majestic sea, along with the tranquil village atmosphere, make it an attractive place that offers tourists both relaxation and inspiration.

1⃣️Duration: About 2-5 hours (roughly half a day, depending on time and stamina) 2⃣️Transportation: Both Dart and bus stops are quite close, not much difference ➡️Outbound Dart, city center Connolly-Howth, about half an hour. ➡️H3, the bus stop is next to Starbucks, about forty minutes, you can charge on the bus. But pay attention to the timetable. 3⃣️Attractions: Howth town and enjoy the scenery along 4 hiking routes, with detailed introductions on the signposts 📌If you are not physically fit, you can return from around Howth Head 📌The first half of the four routes is the same, it is a coastal hiking trail, not difficult to walk, soft shoes are sufficient 📌The green and blue lines take about the same time, around 2 hours, both return to the town after walking along the coast 📌The red line takes about 2.5 hours, the purple line is the longest, basically circling the peninsula.
