Xilong Minluo Temple was built by King Xilong Minluo (1211-1234) in 1218. It is a Burmese-style temple in Bagan with a history of more than 700 years. It is said to be a younger ancient temple in Bagan. The Xilong Minluo Temple is 46 meters high and 43 meters long, and its architectural form is similar to that of the Sulamani Pagoda. The temple consists of two stacked huge cubes, and a huge spire stands on the cube on the second floor. There are four-faced Buddhas on the upper and lower floors, facing the four entrances. Traces of frescoes remain inside the temple, and there are fragments of stucco reliefs on the outside walls.
